OUR BUSINESS DESIGN METHOD

The Strategic Business Design approach, offered exclusively by Vianeo, guides idea and technology owners through five structured steps. From initial exploration to business model validation, it transforms an intention into a clear, aligned, validated innovation project ready for implementation. All innovation methods—Design Thinking, Blue Ocean, Lean Startup, Business Model Canvas—are fully integrated into Vianeo’s approach.

Clearly identify the problem you are addressing and demonstrate why you are well-positioned to tackle it. Assess your internal resources, unique expertise, and strategic strengths. Make sure your foundation is solid from the start, and that you have the skills and infrastructure needed to deliver a credible and distinctive solution.

Analyze the scope of your project to identify personas whose needs are currently unmet or poorly addressed by existing solutions. Explore, assess, and measure their expectations. Anticipate the impact of your innovation within the project ecosystem by mapping it out. Design a solution that is technically and operationally grounded in the needs identified during the Desirability phase. Validate the robustness of your technology, the availability of necessary resources, and industrial feasibility. GET CERTIFIED IN THE METHOD

The Vianeo training program allows participants to master a method that has proven effective for over 15 years in supporting innovators and their teams with clarity, structure, and impact. It provides access to a certification pathway that validates the ability to apply the method independently. Together, the training and certification strengthen the credibility of facilitators with both project leaders and the organization.To date, over 500 professionals across the innovation ecosystem—including companies, research centers, incubators, and consulting firms—have completed the program. Certified participants join the Vianeo Club, an active community of professionals committed to collective intelligence, experience sharing, and deepening their knowledge.

FROM TRAINING TO CERTIFICATION

The Vianeo certification pathway combines skill development with practical application. After 21 hours of training in the Strategic Business Design method, learners receive 8 hours of guided support from a Vianeo expert as they apply the method to their first three projects. A final presentation before a panel of experts validates their mastery of the method, professional approach, and ability to structure complex projects. This pathway is flexible, adapting to the pace of each participant over a period of 3 to 6 months.

Training in the Method

A 21-hour hybrid training program combining team-based application on participants’ real projects. Professionals engage in both online and in-person sessions to fully master the method.

Guided Practice

As part of a personalized 8-hour supplementary training program, learners receive guidance from the trainer during their first three applications of the method. These projects, modeled on real work situations, are subject to dedicated reviews that validate their approach, refine their methodological skills, and allow them to share feedback with both the trainer and fellow participants undergoing certification. By also engaging in reviews of their peers’ projects, learners deepen their understanding of use cases while strengthening their ability to challenge and advise effectively using the Vianeo method.

Final Presentation

To complete their certification journey, the learner takes a methodological test in the form of a multiple-choice questionnaire (50 questions), then presents one of their three projects to a panel of Vianeo-certified experts. This one-hour oral defense evaluates their mastery of the Strategic Business Design method, their facilitator stance, and the acquisition of the expected key skills. The panel assesses the learner’s ability to identify the strategy’s critical points (strengths and areas for improvement) and to guide the project owner in making it stronger and more relevant.
