1.1 The purpose of processing : the non-commercialization of user data
Vianeo collects personal information during the registration process and through other contacts with the customer (email, phone…). These data are transmitted voluntarily by the person who registers. The use of personal data collected is to provide and improve our service. Theses datas are collected for all standard customer information includes, among other things, the name, the e-mail address or the name of the company … and, more generally, any information useful for a better appreciation of the customer. Thus, the use of the data will always be related to the reason for which they were originally provided
1.2 Recipient of personal data: Vianeo exclusively
Vianeo is aware about the values of those informations, which is why in any case, the collected data will not be rented, sold or used, for any kind of commercial activity whatsoever. Vianeo is the sole recipient of all personal data provided.
1.3 Data storage
The server is secured by the SSL protocol who is using industry-standard encryption technologies to back up your transactions and data. It encrypts personal information during their journey through the internet. The Vianeo platform is secured by a Letsencrypt digital certificate. This guarantees that any information sent via the web will be encrypted. Feel free to click on the security seal to verify the validity of our certificate and our commitment the certificate. Sites secured with Letsencrypt SSL Certificates provide up to 256-bit encryption, the highest level ofencryption and security possible. Vianeo ensures that its communications between the browser and the web servers of the site are private and secure.
Vianeo hosts its data from “Amazon webservice”, “OVH” and “Scaleway” all of which have servers based in the European Union and which guarantee a maximum level of protection, according to the rules enacted by the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) entered into force on May 25, 2018, and more generally according to all the rules enacted by to the French National Commission on Information Technology and Liberties and its European counterparts.
Every data relating to an account or project is transcribed on multiple disks instantly, saved daily and stored in different spaces, with certifications. The servers used take advantage of modern techniques to avoid congestions and failure points. Despite all the efforts made, users need to know that no method of transmitting over the Internet and storing electronic information can be foolproof.
1.4 A right of access to his personal data
Vianeo uses the personal data you provide, in compliance with the present security policy.
Anyone who has disclosed data to the company Vianeo through has a right of access and communication of his data, a right of opposition, rectification and cancellation, in accordance with the french law, at any time, and in all cases where the applicant can certify his identity by contacting him in accordance with the chapter 7.

The software infrastructure of the Vianeo platform is updated regularly with the latest security measures. The products operate on a dedicated network, locked with firewalls and monitored carefully. 1.6 Passively collected information
When you interact on the Vianeo platform, some non-personally identifiable information are stored on our servers. For example, via your browser, are recovered : your IP address, the type and language of the browser, the pages and URLs mentioned, other browser history, the type of platform, the number of clicks, home pages, the information of the “cookies”, the pages that you have requested and visited, the time spent on certain specific pages … Vianeo only uses this data in aggregate format (this is a statistical data as defined in the following paragraph).
1.7 The particular case of aggregated data
In a constant effort to better understanding of users, Vianeo can analyze the personal data of its customers on its platform in an aggregated form. Aggregated data can be defined as made from micro data files and is the result of a combination of different measures. They are obtained by adding or averaging the individual values obtained. They provide information on groups that share common characteristics. It is possible to aggregate by location, characteristics or time.
This aggregated information does not identify you personally. This information is likely to be shared with our partners. It may also be disclosed through global statistics on the use of Vianeo to describe our services to current and potential future business partners and other stakeholders for legal reasons.
Google Analytics and Piwik let Vianeo knows how users are using certain parts of the platform to make it appealing to as many users as possible and thereby improve our services.
Similarly, we may provide this information with aggregated data to our partners to inform them of how our users collectively use the Vianeo platform. This type of statistical data is shared for our partners to understand how often the service is used, and then they can optimize their online experience. For example, we use Google Analytics and Piwik, open source web data analysis platforms to collect and review this information. The aim is to better informing and targeting the relevant groups.

Vianeo is committed to guarantee the confidentiality and privacy of the information collected on this platform. Only Vianeo engineers from technical support team, who are subject to a non-disclosure agreement, may have direct access to the project data for necessary and exclusive reasons of technical assistance or maintenance.

Vianeo retains with due diligence the personal information provided. Vianeo is committed to doing everything possible to ensure the security of its customers’ data.
However, the company is bound only whit the limits of due care and can not be recognized as responsible in case of breach in security due to an external fact, not attributable or to any action of third parties who might receive this information.
Vianeo can not be held responsible if a virus and / or a technical problem occurs during the connection of the victim. The company disclaims any obligation and thus decline any request to this effect.
Vianeo may be required to disclose any information on legal injunction as required by law or legal process.
5/ Intellectual property
The general structure, as well as the questionnaire, the texts, animated or still images, sounds, graphics, downloadable documents and any other element composing the site are subject to the legislation in force on copyright and remain the exclusive property of Vianeo. Any reproduction, redistribution or any use of a copy of all or part of this content is subject to the prior written and express authorization of Vianeo.
6/ In case of change of privacy policy
The rules of confidentiality will not change unless they have been brought to the attention of the client. Any potential policy change, how to collect, or even use personally identifiable information via email will be notified to all customers.
